Mission and Commitments

This web app is built by a swim community member, for the swim community. Its purpose is to make pool visits and summer swim plans easier by bringing commonly needed Columbia Association outdoor pool and Columbia Neighborhood Swim League information together in one place.

  • For the community: Every part of the web app should benefit local families, swimmers, and volunteers.
  • Always free: Everyone can use the web app at no cost.
  • Never any ads: The web app does not show advertising.
  • No personally identifiable information: The web app does not collect or keep information that identifies you, such as your name or email address. Learn how location is handled.
  • Never any sale of data: The web app does not sell visitor data. It does not collect personal data to sell in the first place.

About App Information

I do my best to keep the app current with official Columbia Association and CNSL publications. If something does not match an official source, please include a link to that source in your message. I can review what the app displays, but I cannot change information published by CA or CNSL. Because I maintain this community project in my spare time, replies and updates may take a little while.

Weather is checked only from one hour before the first scheduled pool activity until pools close. Checks use a fixed Columbia-area point, not your current location. Visible alerts show when they were last updated. View weather source details.

This is off by default. If you turn it on, the Pools page asks your browser for your location only long enough to estimate pool distances. The app does not track, save, or send your location.
